Episoede: Revive Our Oceans was part of the Earthshot Prize’s 2021 storytelling — a global initiative created to spotlight real solutions working to repair and protect our planet.

This segment focused on the urgent need to restore ocean ecosystems, while also sharing hopeful, tangible projects already making a difference beneath the surface. From coral restoration to marine protection, the story highlights how innovation, science, and community action can bring life back to our seas.

What I loved most about working on this project was the balance between urgency and hope. The oceans are under enormous pressure, but they are also incredibly resilient when given the chance to recover. This film was about showing that recovery is possible — and that the solutions already exist.

​

It was another reminder of why storytelling matters: when people can see what’s happening, and what’s possible, they’re far more likely to care and act.
