Silverback Films & Open Planet & Earthshot Prize
Segment directed for the feature film created for The Earthshot Prize, founded by Prince William.
For the Earthshot feature film, I directed a segment focused on a company transforming pineapple waste into innovative, sustainable fashion materials — turning what would normally be thrown away into clothing, accessories, and new possibilities for the future.
The Earthshot Prize exists to spotlight solutions that can help repair the planet over the next decade — celebrating people and ideas that are already creating real change across energy, nature, oceans, waste, and climate.
What inspired me most about this story was how simple and hopeful it felt. Not futuristic in a distant way — but practical, tangible, and happening right now. It offered a glimpse of a cleaner world where waste becomes resource, and innovation works in harmony with nature.
I strongly believe sustainability shouldn’t feel political. A cleaner future, less pollution, and smarter use of what we already have is a better future for everyone — no matter where you come from. Stories like this remind us that solutions exist, and that progress can be creative, beautiful, and accessible.
